What you will do

As Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, you'll be the EMEA brand expert responsible for setting strategic direction and ensuring successful execution across a diverse portfolio.

You'll lead and develop a team of experienced Brand Managers while partnering closely with commercial leadership, local marketing teams and global stakeholders to deliver sustainable portfolio growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Brand Managers, creating an environment where talent can thrive.
• Define and execute the annual and long-term EMEA portfolio strategy aligned to global business objectives.
• Drive portfolio growth through innovative marketing campaigns, customer engagement initiatives and commercial excellence.
• Develop scalable EMEA marketing assets, campaigns and best practices that can be successfully localized across markets.
• Build strong partnerships with local marketing teams, commercial leaders, supply chain partners, key opinion leaders and global stakeholders.
• Create and deliver annual marketing plans and develop a 3–5-year portfolio roadmap.
• Partner with divisional leadership on portfolio development, new product launches, lifecycle management and M&A integration opportunities.
• Lead EMEA product lifecycle management, including product launches, portfolio optimisation and product phase-outs.
• Analyse business performance, market trends, customer insights and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic actions.
• Develop customer engagement strategies including congresses, hands-on training, education programmes and facility visits.
• Partner with the Education team to identify capability gaps and create impactful internal training programmes.
• Drive brand positioning, messaging and pricing strategy based on customer, market and competitive insights.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders across EMEA.
• Mentor junior Brand Managers and help build the next generation of marketing leadership.
• Act as a visible role model for Stryker's values, culture and leadership behaviours.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 10+ years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred
• 7+ years of medical device and/or strategic marketing experience
• 4+ years leading and developing high-performing teams
• Experience working within large international matrix organisations
• Strong commercial and business acumen
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Fluent English required; additional languages relevant to the EMEA region are advantageous

Netherlands Pay Ranges:

• Netherlands: €83.100 - €154.400 EUR Annual
