At BakerHicks, our multidisciplinary teams deliver innovative engineering, design and project solutions across some of the UK's most complex and technically challenging environments. We are looking for a Senior Land Surveyor to join our established Surveying team and play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying services while supporting the development of future talent.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering land, topographical and measured building surveys to support a variety of projects.
- Processing, reviewing and validating survey data and deliverables.
- Providing technical oversight and quality assurance of survey outputs to ensure compliance with client and industry standards.
- Supporting the development of survey specifications, standards and best practice guidance.
- Working closely with project teams, clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver successful outcomes.
- Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors and apprentices, helping them develop their technical skills and confidence.
- Exploring and implementing innovative surveying technologies and ways of working
What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from individuals who can bring a blend of technical expertise, collaboration and leadership potential.
- Experience delivering topographical and measured surveys within a professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and N4CE.
- Experience processing and managing survey data and deliverables.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and survey standards.
- Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- A full UK driving licence.
