About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior iOS Developer to help us build and scale world-class mobile experiences.
You’ll work across our portfolio of AI-powered and consumer mobile apps, taking ownership from architecture decisions to production releases. You’ll solve challenging engineering problems, improve app performance, and help shape the technical standards of our mobile team.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain scalable, high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
Take ownership of the native iOS layer in our Flutter apps, including architecture, integrations and platform-specific capabilities.
Build and ship Apple-native features in our apps, such as WidgetKit widgets, Live Activities and Dynamic Island, App Intents and Siri Shortcuts, push and notification extensions, Share extensions, Sign in with Apple and StoreKit 2.
Bring AI capabilities to the native side where they make sense, using technologies such as Core ML, on-device models, Apple Intelligence APIs, Speech and Vision frameworks.
Design and evolve maintainable iOS architectures, reusable components and clear boundaries between native and Flutter layers.
Profile and optimize app performance, startup time, memory usage and responsiveness using Instruments and production monitoring tools.
Ensure our apps look and work correctly across supported iPhone and iPad screen sizes, OS versions and form factors, including native components such as widgets and extensions.
Improve engineering practices around testing, code review, CI/CD, release processes and mobile observability.
Act as the team's iOS mentor by reviewing native code, writing internal guidelines, running knowledge-sharing sessions and helping our Flutter developers become confident on iOS.
What We’re Looking For
At least 5 years of professional iOS development experience, including apps you have shipped and maintained in production on the App Store.
Strong interest in the Apple ecosystem and modern iOS engineering practices.
Strong proficiency in Swift and hands-on production experience with SwiftUI.
Strong knowledge of iOS application architecture, application lifecycle, modular design and platform APIs.
Strong knowledge of the Apple platform beyond the main app, including app extensions, WidgetKit, background modes, push notifications, StoreKit and the app lifecycle.
A solid understanding of Swift Concurrency, including async/await, actors, structured concurrency and thread safety; experience with Combine is a plus.
Strong understanding of ARC, memory management, retain cycles and performance profiling.
Comfortable using Instruments and production diagnostics to identify and resolve performance and memory issues.
Hands-on experience with Xcode project configuration, code signing, provisioning, CI/CD and the full App Store release process.
Experience investigating production issues using crash reports, logs, metrics and profiling tools.
Experience connecting native iOS code with a cross-platform framework, or a strong willingness to learn Flutter.
Familiarity with Android and Kotlin is a plus.
Experience working with Objective-C or legacy iOS codebases is a plus.
Experience with visionOS, watchOS or tvOS is a plus.
Working proficiency in English.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
