Why This Role Matters?

In this role, you will help coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project delivery activities, support regulatory compliance efforts, and contribute to the successful advancement of projects that are critical to the energy transition and sustainable infrastructure development.

What Your Impact Is:

As renewable energy and technology-sector infrastructure continue to expand across the western United States, successful project delivery depends on effective coordination, regulatory expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement. • 3+ years of relevant environmental consulting, permitting, planning, or project delivery experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting project management and coordination, including document preparation, agency and client coordination, meeting facilitation and note-taking, scheduling, budget tracking, and quality review.
  • Working knowledge of environmental review, permitting, and regulatory compliance requirements applicable to infrastructure projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, agencies, technical specialists, and project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize multidisciplinary work, manage competing priorities, and meet project deadlines.
  • Experience facilitating project meetings, tracking decisions and action items, and escalating risks or constraints appropriately.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, quality-focused team environment.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Experience working with federal, state, and local agencies in the western United States, particularly in Washington and Oregon.
  • Familiarity with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and other applicable environmental review and permitting requirements.
  • Experience supporting solar, wind, battery energy storage, transmission, data center, or other power and technology infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with agency coordination, permit applications, environmental review documents, and natural-resource technical studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate federal, state, and local permitting for renewable energy, power, transmission, battery energy storage, data center, and other technology-sector infrastructure projects.
  • Assist Project Managers with scope, schedule, budget, risk, and deliverable tracking.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary technical studies and document reviews to support regulatory compliance and timely project delivery.
  • Support preparation of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Assessments and other federal, state, and local environmental review documents.
  • Review technical documents addressing potential impacts to soil, vegetation, wildlife, wetlands, water resources, and other environmental resources.
  • Coordinate communication among clients, technical teams, agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead project coordination meetings, document decisions and action items, monitor progress, and identify issues requiring escalation.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, permit applications, meeting summaries, presentations, and client briefings.
  • Support resolution of technical, regulatory, and project delivery challenges to maintain project momentum.
  • Mentor junior staff and support consistent delivery of high-quality work.
