Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
What Will You Do?
- Under general supervision, this role will actively participate as a member of the InsuraMatch team in collaborating, conceiving and developing scalable, performant, secure solutions.
- Perform basic analysis, development, testing, debugging, configuration, incident investigation, documentation, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on and related to user or system design specifications.
- Support and contribute to the improvement of the development process
- Provide tier one support for cloud and physical networks, servers, operating systems, and processes
- Worth within the guidelines set by the team to monitor, manage, and administer Serverless, Linux, and Window computer platforms
- Support critical aspects of our technology operations in areas including Production, deployment process automation, monitoring, and security
- Ensure alignment between security architecture frameworks, standards, and overall IT cloud strategy
- Create and maintain build scripts, templates and other artifacts for the Infrastructure stack
- Support the migration of applications to the cloud infrastructure and assist in the analysis, tuning, and re-architecture when necessary to ensure adherence to business requirements
- Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Familiar with cloud computing services from companies such as Amazon (AWS), Google (GCP), and Microsoft (Azure).
- System administration experience in UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
- Knowledge with MySQL relational databases.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Knowledge of information security best practices.
- Development skills in some of the following: React. Angular, Node.js., Typescript, etc.
- Knowledge of MySQL and SQL query and schema design.
- Knowledge of agile development working model – Jira, Confluence, Git.
- Knowledge of test-driven development and/or behavior-driven development.
- Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge with Chef, Puppet, and/or other automated deployment methodologies.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including security and systems design.
- Detail orientation - attention and desire to work on large data "crunching" projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Creative thinker with the ability to synthesize information from various sources and apply that information to concrete business problems.
- Understanding of implementing and operating IT infrastructure (e.g., servers, networks, storage). Experience with the public cloud is a major plus.
- Strong people skills – the ability to get along with people at all levels of an organization, and get things done through influence and persuasion.
What is a Must Have?
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work or military experience.
