Title:

KBR is seeking a Senior International Tax Accountant to support international indirect tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities within its global tax organization. This role will assist with VAT/GST filings, tax analysis, business advisory support, and research of tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate tax implications, support audits and regulatory inquiries, maintain compliance documentation, and contribute to process improvement initiatives within a multinational environment.

Trinzic is being established as an independent public company through the planned separation of KBR's Mission Technology Solutions business, which is expected to be completed on January 4, 2027. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Indian and foreign VAT/GST returns, ensuring accurate and timely compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

• Support tax advisory activities related to billing transactions, customer inquiries, and indirect tax matters.

• Conduct research on tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions and provide guidance on the impact of legislative or regulatory changes.

• Gather and maintain supporting documentation required for tax audits, reviews, and governmental inquiries.

• Assist with governance and control activities to support compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements.

• Support business initiatives and organizational changes that impact international tax reporting and compliance processes.

• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy across tax reporting and compliance activities.

• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.

• Develop recurring management reports, including filing status, tax payments and accruals, entity tracking, and other tax-related metrics.

• Participate in special projects and provide support across other areas of the tax function as required.

Basic Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Taxation, or a related field.

• MBA, CA (Inter), CMA (Inter), or equivalent professional qualification.

• 4+ years of experience in corporate tax, indirect tax, international tax compliance, or a related tax function.

• Experience supporting tax reporting and compliance activities within a multinational organization.

• Experience preparing or reviewing VAT/GST returns and related compliance filings.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Knowledge of VAT/GST compliance and international tax reporting principles.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to research and interpret tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large data sets.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a multinational corporate tax department.

• Experience supporting tax reporting and compliance across multiple international jurisdictions.

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Deltek Costpoint, Hyperion (HFM), OneSource Income Tax (OIT), or similar enterprise systems.

• Experience supporting tax audits, regulatory reviews, or process improvement initiatives.
