About the role

We are looking for an SAP SOX Compliance Specialist to support internal controls and regulatory compliance across SAP environments.

In this role, you will work with business teams, IT specialists, SAP support teams, and auditors to ensure that SAP access, processes, and controls meet SOX and internal compliance requirements. You will also support audits, identify control gaps, and help implement remediation actions.

Daily challenges

• Support the implementation and maintenance of SOX controls in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Review SAP user access, authorizations, and Segregation of Duties risks.
• Support regular access reviews and identify excessive or conflicting access.
• Prepare and maintain control documentation, including procedures, risk and control matrices, and testing evidence.
• Support internal and external audits by collecting evidence and coordinating control testing activities.
• Identify control weaknesses and work with responsible teams to define and monitor remediation actions.
• Cooperate with business stakeholders, IT teams, SAP support, cybersecurity, and external auditors to maintain compliant and audit-ready SAP environments

eXperience and skills required

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in SAP Security, SAP authorizations, SOX compliance, internal controls, IT audit, or SAP GRC.
• Good understanding of SOX requirements and IT General Controls, particularly user access, change management, and IT operations.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Understanding of SAP authorization concepts, user access management, and Segregation of Duties.
• Experience with control testing, audit evidence, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with business teams, IT specialists, auditors, and external service providers

We offer salary from EUR 2000 – 3500 gross per month. Salary can be higher depending on experience and skillset.
