Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Based on the results of an Architecture Assessment currently underway, you will develop a comprehensive modernization roadmap with clear milestones and success metrics
- Design and define a scalable, cloud-native SaaS architecture leveraging modern technologies, microservices patterns, and best practices for enterprise systems using DXC’s Assure Platform principles and structures
- Lead the technical strategy across all modernization initiatives, including platform migration, technology stack decisions, and infrastructure evolution
- Establish and maintain architectural governance, standards, and guidelines; conduct design reviews and ensure consistency across teams
- Build and mentor a high-performing architecture team; foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Security teams to balance technical rigor with business pragmatism
- Define and communicate the technical vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; drive alignment across the organization
- Evaluate and make technology decisions (frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, tooling) that support long-term product competitiveness
- Ensure the architecture supports non-functional requirements: performance, security, reliability, compliance, and scalability at enterprise scale
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise software architecture experience, with at least 5+ years in a Chief Architect, Principal Architect, or Lead Architect role
- Proven track record of successfully defining and delivering a modern Policy Administration System, billing system, or comparable enterprise platform
- Direct experience modernizing legacy enterprise systems to cloud-native SaaS models; demonstrated success navigating complex technical transformation programs
- Deep expertise in modern architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, CQRS, domain-driven design) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong background in building and scaling systems for enterprise customers; understanding of compliance, security, and multi-tenancy requirements
- Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to C-suite executives, boards, and technical teams
- Track record of building and leading high-performing technical teams in a collaborative, inclusive environment
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced technology vendors; comfort with iterative delivery and rapid decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with subscription billing, recurring revenue, or SaaS commercial platforms
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) or formal architecture methodologies
- Background in B2B SaaS product companies; understanding of product-market fit and platform evolution
- Demonstrated thought leadership: speaking engagements, published articles, open-source contributions, or recognized expertise in enterprise architecture
- Experience with data analytics, reporting, and real-time processing at scale
- Prior exposure to regulated industries (finance, telecom, insurance) and compliance-heavy environments
