Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be accountable for sales of Medium Voltage products and systems in the Electrification Business in Portugal, driving sales volumes and margins. Reporting to the Sales Manager of the Electrification Distribution, you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

Work model: #LI-hybrid

• Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy

• Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities

• Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers

• Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities

• Working in projects with clients, such as collaboration with industry, utilities…

• Frequent travel in Portugal

Qualifications for the Role

• An Electrical/Electronical Engineering degree and English language fluency is a must

• More than 6 years of experience in sales of medium voltage products and systems including Low voltage Switchgears, in the Distribution, OEM’s and Panel Builders Channels

• Sound knowledge of Medium Voltage and in the Electric Mobility solutions market would be desirable

• Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is a plus

• A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships

• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills

• Driving license valid in Portugal
