À propos de ce poste Sales Development Representative chez CrewBloom
We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative & Appointment Setter to help grow a UK client base for a specialist cleaning and compliance business. The company serves commercial and property clients across the UK with mould remediation, specialist and biohazard cleaning, commercial extract/ventilation cleaning and TR19-related compliance, and compliance documentation and certification. This is a sales role, not a data-entry or calling role.
You will identify prospects, reach decision-makers such as business owners, facilities, property, estates and operations managers, understand their requirements, create interest and book qualified appointments for the sales team. The role is remote, working UK business hours, with full-time or part-time options depending on requirement. Structured training is provided, and there is an opportunity to progress into SDR and eventually Account Executive/Sales Executive responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Book qualified appointments for the sales team (primary KPI)
- Make high-volume outbound calls to UK decision-makers and hold natural, consultative business conversations
- Identify the right decision-maker and ask discovery questions to uncover needs and upcoming requirements
- Handle objections and establish whether there is a genuine opportunity
- Qualify leads on need, authority, timing, current provider, problem and opportunity
- Research and build targeted prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn, Google, company websites, directories and existing lead lists
- Target sectors such as hospitality, care homes, healthcare, education, warehouses, factories, offices, property and facilities management, construction and retail
- Write personalised introductory and follow-up emails and run email sequences in the sales platform
- Connect and engage with decision-makers on LinkedIn
- Follow up consistently using a structured cadence (Day 1, 3, 5, 8, 14, then re-engagement)
- Record every interaction accurately in the CRM, including notes, objections, next actions and follow-up dates
- Confirm appointments, send confirmations and follow up to reduce no-shows
- Provide a clear handover to the salesperson for each booked appointment
- Report weekly on activity, results and market intelligence (objections, competitors, pricing concerns, sector response)
- Contribute ideas to improve the sales process
- Work towards daily targets of approx. 40-70 calls, 8-15+ meaningful conversations, 20-40 emails/follow-ups and 1-3 qualified appointments, adjusted for experience and hours
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales
- Cold calling and telephone sales experience
- Appointment setting and lead generation experience
- SDR/BDR or outbound sales experience
- Experience using CRM systems
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Able to communicate professionally with UK businesses and senior decision-makers
- Comfortable with email sequencing, LinkedIn, Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, spreadsheets, VoIP/dialler systems, calendars and online meeting platforms
- Experience with Apollo or similar sales platforms (Apollo is a strong advantage)
- Experience selling commercial cleaning, facilities management, property services, construction, compliance, health & safety, building services, mould remediation, hospitality or B2B professional services (preferred)
- Confident, persistent, organised, resilient and target-driven
