Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of robust and effective enterprise-wide Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies, standards, processes, and procedures. Areas covered include Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Trade Compliance, Third Party Risk Management. Compliance & Ethics, and Investigations
- Partner with Global, Regional & Country teams to embed Risk and Compliance practices and effective risk strategies into business operations, and ensure the business is identifying, evaluating, measuring risk mitigation activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor, point of contact & escalation for global, regional & country stakeholders on Risk & Compliance matters.
- Monitor adherence to policy requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with control assessments, gap analysis, remediation tracking, governance reviews and investigations
- Promote the importance of effective Risk & Compliance management and educate the business by developing and coordinating both company wide and bespoke communications and training.
- Prepare reports and executive updates for committees and regional leadership across all scope areas
- Support regional and global Risk & Compliance programs and strategic initiatives.
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
- Support on regional risk identification & assessments, risk workshops
- Maintain & monitor risk registers, key risks, risk indicators, risk treatment plans, and ERM KPIs
Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Support implementation of BCM framework and associated BCM risk and compliance activities
- Monitor BCM KPIs, compliance requirements, and remediation activities.
Trade Compliance
- Support implementation of Trade Compliance policies, controls, and relevant tools.
- Support sanctions screening reviews & escalations, trade compliance due diligence
- Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation of control enhancements where necessary.
Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)
- Third-party risk assessments, assessment outcome review, monitoring of risk treatment activities & TPRM KPIs
Compliance and Ethics
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Compliance & Ethics framework, including Code of Conduct, Gifts and Hospitality, Conflict of interests.
- Support internal investigations
Knowledge and Attributes
- Knowledge in one of more of the following areas: Enterprise Risk Management principles and methodologies. Business Continuity Management standards and practices, Trade Compliance, export controls, sanctions, and regulatory compliance, Third-Party Risk Management and due diligence processes. Compliance & Ethics, Investigations, Governance Risk and Compliance, and internal controls concepts
- Good understanding of the COSO model and 3 lines of defence
- Strong collaborative, business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills, ability to build effective relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders at various levels of seniority
- Ability to influence stakeholders across different cultures and organizational levels, and present/engage with senior leadership level stakeholders.
- Ability to deal with a large and varied workload, comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and handle complexity and ambiguity within a large multinational matrix organization.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently, with a mindset of continual development and the ability to influence.
- Excellent communication skills, including both interpersonal and written, and the ability to convey complex messages clearly and accessibly.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.

Academic Qualifications & Preferred Certifications
- Degree or equivalent in Risk Management, Business, Information Security, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Relevant certifications will be preferred such as CRMP, CIA, CCEP, CBCP/ISO 22301Lead Implementer, CRISC, CISA
Required Experience
- 3-6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas : Risk Management, Compliance & Ethics, Internal Controls, Audit, Business Continuity, Trade Compliance, Third Party Risk Management, or related fields.
- Experience working in Governance, Risk and Compliance, or an equivalent or similar function/scope within a large multinational organization
- Experience supporting implementation and management of risk and compliance frameworks in a multinational organization across multiple countries and business units.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in supporting regional or global Risk & Compliance roles and programs
- Experience in technology, telecommunications, IT, managed services industry
- Experience working in highly matrixed and culturally diverse environments.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
