About This Opportunity

We are a property management company looking to bring on another remote team member to support our accounting and administrative operations. This role is primarily focused on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting work — with approximately one-third of the time dedicated to property management administrative tasks.

We hire the same way across our team — remote or in-office — and the standard is intelligence, energy, and the ability to learn fast. Most people who join us start with the basics: processing invoices and general admin. That is the entry point, not the ceiling. If you pick it up quickly and can handle more complex work, we move you up and bring someone new in to cover the basics.

What You Will Start With

Every new team member starts here. This is the foundation, and we take it seriously.

•     Process vendor and contractor invoices accurately and in a timely manner — this is the primary entry-point task

•     Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly

•     Support general accounting data entry and file maintenance

•     Handle property management administrative tasks — approximately one-third of your time — including document management, communication support, and operational coordination

•     Communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members and external vendors or tenants as needed

Where This Role Goes

For the right person, this is not a static position. As you demonstrate accuracy, reliability, and the ability to handle more complex work, your responsibilities will expand. That might include:

•     Full-cycle AP/AR management across a property portfolio

•     Bank and account reconciliations

•     Financial reporting and month-end support

•     Deeper property management accounting functions — tenant billing, owner reporting, trust accounting

•     Taking on higher-complexity work as the company continues to grow and hire

Accounting & Property Management Experience

Experience is welcome but not required. Here is how we look at it:

•     No experience — if you are sharp, high-energy, and learn fast, we will train you on everything

•     Some accounting or administrative experience — a great foundation that will shorten your ramp-up time

•     Experienced candidates with AP/AR, property management, or accounting backgrounds — welcome and will be compensated accordingly, provided you are willing to start with foundational tasks and grow from there

•     Property management experience is a meaningful plus — familiarity with vendor management, tenant communication, or property accounting will help you contribute more quickly

•     Licensed CPA
