Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and motivated Deep Learning R&D Engineer to join our team in Mons, Belgium. Working closely within the R&D group, you will push the frontiers of Machine Learning and speech synthesis research to design and integrate advanced solutions into our core products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize speech modules based on state-of-the-art Deep Learning technologies.

• Design, test, and deploy speech processing technologies supporting a wide range of solutions.

• Conduct focused, goal-oriented research and development while maintaining high standards for deliverable quality.

• Collaborate actively within an international, cross-site team of experts working on high-impact applications (such as My-Own-Voice).
 

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Strong background in statistical modeling techniques and state-of-the-art deep learning applications.

• High proficiency in Python (C/C++ is a strong asset) and solid familiarity with deep learning frameworks/libraries.

• Experience in speech processing, speech synthesis, speech recognition, or Natural Language Understanding (NLU) is a major plus.

• Good working knowledge of Linux or Windows environments.

• Team player, strong sense of ownership, and the ability to creatively turn innovative ideas into efficient, marketable solutions.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
