Job Summary:

Panelmatic is currently seeking a Quality Document Control Specialist, responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all documentation used by the Quality Control team, including engineering drawings, inspection records, logs, and controlled procedures. This role ensures that all documents are current, accurately tracked, properly distributed, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.

Job Duties:

• Maintain and update document control logs inspection logs, calibration logs,
• Track document revision history and ensure version control across all QC documentation
• Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems for QC records
• Ensure all controlled documents (work instructions, inspection criteria, checklists, SOPs) are up to date and accessible to relevant personnel
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and QC teams to process document change requests (ECRs/ECOs)
• Scan, upload, and back up completed inspection records and quality documents
• Support internal and external audits by retrieving requested documentation quickly and accurately
• Verify completeness and accuracy of QC paperwork (inspection reports, certificates of conformance, test data sheets)
• Maintain confidentiality and security of proprietary drawings and quality records
• Assist in developing and improving document control procedures and filing systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in document control, quality, or administrative support (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and document management/ERP systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (basic level)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ISO 9001.
• Familiarity with electronic document control systems
• Prior experience in manufacturing, or industrial setting
