You provide hands-on assistance to support the operation and goals of the laboratory by planning and conducting experiments and applying your understanding to analyze results. With guidance, you plan and implement assigned projects.

How you will contribute

You will perform a range of analyses, prepare and maintain standard equipment and chemicals required for running of an analytical laboratory, support laboratory activities while ensuring compliance to the appropriate internal and external standards, and capture and report data with technical rigor and accuracy. To succeed in this role, you will maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment and be proficient in generic and specific software packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing & Analysis — Perform routine analytical tests on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products; report results to relevant stakeholders.

• Data Analysis — Analyse test results, interpret trends and patterns, and flag risks or improvement opportunities.

• Equipment Maintenance & Calibration — Keep laboratory equipment hygienic, well-maintained per OEM recommendations, and calibrated on schedule to ensure accurate, reliable results.

• Record Keeping — Maintain meticulous records, both manual and electronic, in line with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).

• Communication & Corrective Action — Clearly communicate results (verbal and written) with recommended corrective actions where gaps are identified.

• Out-of-Specification Investigations — Investigate process deviations, identify root causes, and drive the process back to specification.

• Continuous Improvement — Identify and implement productivity opportunities across laboratory operations.

• Microbiological Analysis — Perform basic micro analysis as required.

• Compliance — Uphold Mondelēz and regulatory quality standards across all laboratory activities.

• Housekeeping & Safety — Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.

Education / Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in science, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Relevant laboratory experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Microbiological knowledge is an added advantage

Technical Knowledge:

• Practical application of GLP and laboratory safety standards.

• Basic understanding of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and PAS 96 requirements.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• SAP knowledge is an added advantage.

• Good knowledge of IL6S principles with practical implementation experience.
