Quality Inspector

Location: Mesa, AZ
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 AM-3:30 PM and 2nd Shift 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
Salary: $22.00-$29.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspectors to support our Quality department. In this role, you will ensure that all molded and machined parts meet company and industry standards throughout the manufacturing process, including first piece, receiving, in-process, and final inspections.

You’ll work hands-on with precision measurement equipment and apply product specifications to maintain our commitment to high-quality production. This position plays a key role in sustaining our KAITEKI values by helping maintain a positive, safe, and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections using precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, etc.)
• Interpret and apply blueprints, GD&T symbols, and customer/industry specifications
• Complete and maintain accurate inspection records and non-conformance reports
• Follow Quality Management System procedures in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS 9100 standards
• Identify, document, and control non-conforming products
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized production environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic math and measurement skills (familiarity with calipers and micrometers)
• Some technical training or relevant mechanical inspection experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail
• Initiative and self-motivation
• Accountability and reliability
• Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
• CMM programming is a plus
• FAI experience, preferred
• GD&T knowledge or certification preferred
• ASQ Quality Inspector Certification is a plus

Pay Transparency

The hourly range for this position is $22.00-$29.00. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
