Job Description:

This job is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects that enhance finance systems, data capabilities, operating models, and business processes across the organization in compliance with applicable policies and governance standards. Key responsibilities include leading large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives, partnering with Finance, Technology, Operations, Data Management, and Global Markets organizations to deliver strategic solutions, and ensuring successful execution through all phases of the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will lead complex programs involving Finance transformation, strategic ledger and subledger modernization, regulatory reporting, process redesign, data sourcing, and operational readiness initiatives. This role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate cross-functional organizations to drive delivery of critical business outcomes.

Job expectations include overseeing project planning, requirements management, governance, risk management, testing, implementation, operational readiness, and executive communications while ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and CFO Change Management Governance and Controls Requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and executes deliverables for all phases of the project while working closely with various partners and user community.

  • Works with leadership and/or line of business to set strategic direction of the project.

  • Assists leadership in the development of solution strategies.

  • Demonstrates strong subject matter knowledge about existing financial solutions and processes within scope of responsibility.

  • Adheres to Chief Financial Officer Group's Change Management Governance and Controls Requirements.

  • Requires an understanding of Finance, Accounting, Technology, and Project Management.

  • Leads complex cross-functional programs involving Finance, Technology, Operations, Data Management, Global Markets, and business partners.

  • Develops and maintains project plans, milestones, dependencies, risk and issue management processes, and executive reporting.

  • Drives requirements, solution design reviews, testing strategy, implementation planning, and business readiness activities.

  • Identifies and proactively manages program risks, key decisions, interdependencies, and change impacts across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Partners with senior leaders to establish priorities, define success metrics, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Facilitates governance forums, steering committee meetings, and executive communications.

  • Supports strategic initiatives involving finance transformation, automation, data modernization, regulatory reporting, and operating model changes.

  • Ensures alignment across upstream and downstream business processes, systems, data flows, and stakeholder groups.

  • Promotes continuous improvement, simplification, and adoption of best project management practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience leading large-scale programs, projects, or transformation initiatives within Financial Services, Finance, Technology, Operations, or Consulting.

  • 5+ years of experience delivering Finance, Global Markets, Regulatory Reporting, Finance Data, or strategic transformation initiatives within a large financial institution.

  • Experience working with end-to-end technology platforms, finance systems, data sourcing solutions, and enterprise reporting environments.

  • Strong understanding of front-to-back data flows supporting trading, finance, risk, and regulatory reporting processes.

  • Experience delivering complex business and technology change initiatives with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.

  • Strong project and program management experience, including governance, risk management, financial management, and executive reporting.

  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions across multiple lines of business.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences.

  • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools, including Jira, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting CFO organization initiatives, including Strategic Ledger, Subledger, Financial Reporting, Finance Modernization, or Finance Operating Model Transformation.

  • Knowledge of banking products and Global Markets businesses, including understanding of finance and risk reporting impacts.

  • Experience with data governance, data lineage, data controls, and business process transformation initiatives.

  • Experience managing regulatory, audit, risk remediation, or control-related programs.

  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, Lean, or Change Management certification.

  • Experience working within a matrixed global organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs spanning business, technology, data, and operational teams.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$124,000.00 - $180,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
