A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
Books 365 is looking for a hands-on team member to support our planning team with process improvement and practical automation. You will work with our people to understand how work gets done, then build, implement and improve solutions that operate reliably in day-to-day workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplication, and areas for improvement.
· Develop and implement practical process improvements that improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround times.
· Work with the planning team and operational staff to map processes, identify recurring work and prioritize improvements.
· Design, build and maintain automations that connect our existing systems, move information accurately and reduce manual steps.
· Use suitable tools and approaches, such as Make, Power Automate, APIs, scripts or AI-enabled workflows, according to the problem and our software environment.
· Test solutions with users, handle exceptions, document how they work and support their adoption in live operations.
· Measure the time saved, quality gained and reliability of each change, then refine it based on feedback.
A BIT ABOUT YOU
· 1–2 years of experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, business operations, business analysis, or a similar role.
· Hands-on experience building and running business automations, with examples of solutions you have put into production.
· Business analysis skills: you can understand requirements, map workflows and turn operational problems into workable solutions.
· Practical knowledge of integration and automation tools, including how applications exchange data through APIs, webhooks or similar methods.
· Confidence working across business software, data and teams; experience in bookkeeping, accounting or service operations would be useful.
· Clear communication and the ability to troubleshoot, maintain and improve what you build.
WHAT WE VALUE
· Curious and Clever: Smart questions spark smart solutions.
· Entrepreneurial Energy: Think like an owner. Solve like a founder.
· Fast with Intent: We move fast and deliver real results.
· Laugh and Learn: We don’t take ourselves too seriously, just our results.
We help companies grow faster and operate smarter by delivering intelligent outsourcing and automation solutions.
We are interested in evidence of what you have built and made work in a business, including sensible use of AI where it adds value. Experience with one named product is less important than your ability to deliver useful, reliable automation.
