About the team
We are looking for a highly organised, data-savvy Pricing Assistant to join our commercial team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind turning strategic pricing decisions into operational reality. Working closely with our Pricing & Merchandising Mangers, you will manage high-volume data entry, monitor competitor movement, and ensure our internal databases remain flawless.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who loves working with numbers and wants to make a direct impact on our business's profitability and market competitiveness.
About the role
- System Administration & Data Entry: Accurately input, update, and maintain price lists, product codes, and discount structures across our core platforms.
- Competitor Monitoring: Tracks and reports on competitor pricing trends and promotional activity across the market.
- Data Auditing & Validation: Conduct regular audits to ensure the live platform pricing matches our master pricing strategies and documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a helpful point of contact for Retail, Pricing Operations and Marketing teams to quickly resolve pricing queries or system discrepancies.
- Reporting Assistance: Help compile analytical data and maintain to track price change impacts.
About you
- Numerical & Analytical Skills: You possess a natural affinity for numbers and a strong attention to detail when handling large datasets.
- Excel Proficiency: You are comfortable working with intermediate Excel functions, such as VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and basic data cleaning.
- Communication & Collaboration: You can clearly flag inconsistencies and communicate effectively with stakeholders across different departments.
- Tech-Minded: Exposure to Business Intelligence tools like Power BI is a plus, but not essential.
