Work Shift
Day (United States of America)Wellstar Health System is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our growing and well-established cardiology team serving the Douglasville community. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Georgia’s largest and most respected health systems, providing high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care with a robust referral base and strong system-wide support.
The ideal candidate is a team-oriented physician who is committed to clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care.
Position Highlights
Full-time, employed position with Wellstar Medical Group
Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative responsibilities
Call coverage shared within a collegial, experienced group
Opportunity to collaborate closely with advanced practice providers, imaging specialists, interventionalists, and electrophysiologists
Access to advanced cardiac imaging, testing, and system-level cardiovascular resources

Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment
