As a PEGA Developer, you will spearhead the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated PEGA applications that drive enterprise workflow automation and compliance. Your role involves translating complex business requirements into robust case management solutions, ensuring seamless integration across systems, and delivering high-quality code that meets strict regulatory standards. You will collaborate tightly with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to continuously refine processes, enhance user experience, and guarantee scalability and reliability across the platform. By leveraging your deep expertise in PEGA and best practices in software engineering, you will help the organization achieve operational excellence and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Design, develop, and customize PEGA applications for complex business processes and case management workflows.

• Create and maintain case types, data models, and decision tables that align with business rules and compliance requirements.

• Integrate PEGA solutions with external systems using REST, SOAP, BPM, and other enterprise integration patterns.

• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot defects, and implement scalable solutions across development, test, and production environments.

• Deliver clean, well‑documented code following agile methodologies and maintain rigorous version control practices.

• Mentor and collaborate with junior developers, providing guidance on best coding standards and PEGA best practices.

• Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing, ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.

• Stay current with PEGA platform releases, new features, and industry trends, recommending enhancements and refactoring opportunities.

• Draft technical design documents, functional specifications, and user tutorials for end‑users and stakeholders.

• Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁

• BA/BE or equivalent experience with 7+ years in PEGA application development and ownership of complete SDLC.

• Proven expertise in PEGA Case Design, Decision Management, and Flow Designer with strong hands‑on experience scripting and rule creation.

• Experience designing enterprise‑scale workflows that fulfill regulatory and compliance obligations such as AML, KYC, or data privacy.

• Proficiency with PEGA integration methods, including REST, SOAP, BPM, and JDBC, plus experience in integrating with ERP, CRM, or legacy systems.

• Solid background in Java, JUnit, and front‑end technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, React) that support custom components or web services.

• Strong analytical skills, adept at translating ambiguous business requirements into tangible technical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and produce clear documentation.

• Proven track record of delivering on tight schedules, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple concurrent projects.

• Familiarity with Agile development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control (Git, SVN).

• Commitment to continuous learning, demonstrated by recent PEGA certifications (e.g., Developer, System Architect, or Business Analyst).
