A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

1. Investigation & Case Management

Conduct thorough investigations in accordance with standard tracing procedures to identify direct causes of discrepancies. Execute real-time updates and log details in central architectures, including Irregsheet, Misrouted logs, and ticketing platforms.

2. Intake Triage & Verification

Enforce the 100% Mandatory Verification rule at entry. Validate the presence of all required evidentiary files prior to initiating investigation workflows, preventing non-compliant tickets from entering the pipeline.

3. Documentation & Reporting

Collect and prepare supporting evidence and documentation for cases to enable the Senior Executive to compile and finalize Final Tracing Reports (FTR) and disposal documentation for legal, insurance, and commercial liability claims. Maintain audit-ready master logs and assist in generating operational status dashboards.

4. Stakeholder Coordination & Administrative Support

Proactively follow up with internal teams and transit stations to gather missing data and prevent case stagnation. Perform general administrative duties, including checklists, reminders, and summary updates to optimize unit throughput.

Requirements

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role: 

• Education: SPM or Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in cargo operations, logistics, supply chain, or customer service.
• Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management and audit-grade reporting.
• Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• System Mastery: Hands-on experience with ticketing systems, database tools, and email communication protocols.
