Introduction to the role
 

We are looking for a National Market Access Manager to join our Market Access Sweden team. In this role, you will play a key part in securing optimal access conditions for both current and future AstraZeneca medicines, working at the intersection of healthcare policy, pricing and reimbursement, stakeholder engagement, and business strategy.
 

This is an office-based role in our Stockholm office.
 

As a National Market Access Manager, you will:

• Lead and drive market access strategies for assigned brands and therapeutic areas.
• Engage with key external stakeholders, including national and regional decision-makers, to support patient access.
•  Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical, Government Affairs, Health Economics and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to pricing, reimbursement, and policy activities that support successful launches and sustainable access.
• Provide insights on the evolving healthcare environment and help translate these into actionable strategies.
• Support AstraZeneca's ambition of bringing innovative medicines to patients faster and more equitably across.
   

In order to succeed:
 

We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong collaboration skills and enjoys working in a complex and evolving environment.

• You hold a Bachelor´s/Master’s degree in natural sciences, economics, pharmacology or equivalent. HTA experience and good understanding of health economics as wells as of Swedish market access, pricing and healthcare process is critical to succeed.
• You have experience from the pharmaceutical industry, pharma consultancy or government agencies and apply an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving/innovative in developing creative solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• An interest in healthcare systems, policy development, and improving patient outcomes
• The ability to navigate ambiguity and turn insights into action.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for working across functions and teams.
• Fluent in communication in Swedish and English.
