This position is ideal for individuals who have a background in the investment industry—or education in financial markets—and who enjoy helping investors understand their accounts and the products they hold.

What You’ll Do

  • Process a wide range of mutual fund transactions, including new account setups, purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and account maintenance—while meeting accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Respond to inbound calls from shareholders, institutional clients, and broker/dealers, providing clear guidance on account activity and mutual fund‑related questions.
  • Analyze and correct transactions, including trade cancellations, account updates, and pricing‑related adjustments.
  • Support conversion and liquidation activities, ensuring data accuracy throughout each process.
  • Research and resolve shareholder requests in accordance with SEC, STA, and internal policy requirements.
  • Explain investment concepts to callers, including:
    • What mutual funds are and why investors may choose them
    • How mutual fund performance is evaluated
    • Portfolio holdings and how they relate to a fund’s objectives
    • The differences among IRA types and how they function

Schedule & Location

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating schedule between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM (CT)
  • Location: Milwaukee, WI (Lewis Center) — Onsite training followed by a minimum of three days per week onsite

What You Bring

We’re especially interested in candidates who can combine strong client‑service skills with foundational investment knowledge.

Required

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or relevant work experience
  • Minimum two years of related work experience, such as accounting/financial transactions and customer service

Strongly Preferred

  • Prior experience in the investment industry or education related to financial markets
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Mutual funds and their purpose as an investment vehicle
    • IRA account types and how they differ
    • Mutual fund performance, portfolio holdings, and fund objectives
  • Ability to explain how a fund’s structure and strategy relate to the shareholder’s investment
  • Functional understanding of the roles of portfolio managers and investment advisors, and how to interact professionally with both
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Solid math and computer skills

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
