Job Overview
Seeking a versatile Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and welding work.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and production equipment.
Diagnose hydraulic issues involving valves, pressure, and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, fuses, megameters, light curtains, and area scanners.
Maintain and repair pneumatic systems and air cylinders.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (PM/CM).
Support reliability and equipment improvement activities.
Perform MIG and stick welding for equipment repairs and fabrication.
Repair equipment components such as shafts, wheels, chains, sprockets, rollers, and related assemblies.
Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic presses, conveyor systems, rollers, and billet furnaces.
Assist with equipment installation, adjustments, alignment, lubrication, and other mechanical maintenance.
Complete maintenance documentation and keep work areas safe and organized.
Support planned plant shutdowns and other maintenance projects as needed.
Requirements
Previous industrial maintenance experience required.
Strong multi-craft maintenance background.
Hands-on hydraulic experience, including valves and pressure troubleshooting.
Electrical troubleshooting experience with PLCs, motors, fuses, megameters, light curtains, and area scanners.
Experience with pneumatics and air cylinders.
Welding experience with MIG and stick.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and production machinery.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work safely in a demanding industrial environment.
Strong attendance, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics education/apprenticeship is a plus.
Work Environment
The role involves a mix of emergency equipment repairs, reliability work, and preventive maintenance, with approximately 70% troubleshooting/repair and 30% preventive maintenance.
