Industrial Electrical Installer

Location: Ashland, VA
Job Type: Full-Time Temporary Project
Duration: 4 Weeks
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: Starting at $28.00/hour, with higher pay available depending on experience
Potential for Hire: Strong performers may have an opportunity to move into a Contract-to-Hire position after the project.

Position Overview

Seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for a 4-week plant project. This role focuses on electrical installation and connections within an active industrial facility while working alongside other trades.

What You'll Do

  • Install and terminate industrial electrical wiring, conduit, and electrical components.
  • Route electrical systems and connect components throughout the plant.
  • Work alongside pipefitting crews during process piping installation.
  • Review electrical drawings, layouts, and work instructions to determine proper component placement and routing.
  • Install conduit, supports, cable, junction boxes, disconnects, and other electrical equipment.
  • Use hand and power tools for electrical installation work.
  • Coordinate with other trades to keep project work on schedule.
  • Follow required safety practices while working around active plant operations.

    • Requirements

  • Industrial electrical installation experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts.
  • Experience installing conduit, wiring, cable, junction boxes, disconnects, and related electrical components.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work safely in an active plant environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with pipefitters and other trades.
  • Reliable and able to complete assigned work within project deadlines.
