Our Endocrinology team in Dover, NH supports patients managing diabetes, thyroid conditions, and a wide range of hormonal disorders through expert care, education, and personalized treatment plans.
As a Medical Assistant II, you will be an essential part of the care team, supporting providers and helping patients feel prepared, informed, and comfortable throughout their visit. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys variety, teamwork, and making a direct impact in a busy specialty care setting.

What You’ll Do
• Room patients, prepare exam rooms and equipment, and support efficient patient flow.
• Obtain and document medical information, including vital signs, height, weight, and updates to the medical record.
• Assist with patient education by reinforcing treatment plans, medications, diets, and provider instructions.
• Support clinical workflows, including specimen collection and preparation for testing; perform phlebotomy if competency is demonstrated.
• Administer immunizations as applicable, in accordance with certification, experience, and supervision requirements.
• Maintain immunization inventory and monitor expiration dates.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other team members to support high-quality patient care.
• Assist with general office responsibilities such as phones, documentation, insurance forms, and coordination with other departments.
• Act as a positive patient advocate and provide excellent customer service throughout the care experience.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
- 1–2 years of direct Medical Assistant experience or medical field work required.
- Basic Life Support certification preferred.
- National Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to prioritize in a busy clinical environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, protocols, EHR systems, and medical office software.
- Ability to take vital signs, obtain manual blood pressure, and collect blood samples or other specimens.
- Commitment to privacy, confidentiality, safety, and regulatory standards.
