ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our growing team at Nexus. In this role, you will work closely with and directly support our Marketing Manager across a variety of core marketing activities.
Because we operate in the B2B space, our focus is on quality over volume. Rather than managing end-to-end campaigns independently on day one, you will assist across multiple channels—helping execute content strategies, nurture lead pipelines, and strengthen Nexus’s overall brand presence.
This role is ideal for an energetic candidate who wants broad exposure to modern B2B marketing tactics. You will receive clear direction, training, and support from the Marketing Manager, with opportunities to take full ownership of specific channels as you grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content & Asset Creation Support
Help adapt and syndicate core content pieces for distribution across company channels and leadership accounts.
Draft and prepare monthly email newsletters to nurture existing clients and leads.
Assist the Marketing Manager in drafting, editing, and formatting strategic content pieces.
Social Media Management
Manage the posting schedule and publishing workflow for official Nexus social media accounts (primarily LinkedIn).
Keep executive and company LinkedIn profiles updated and aligned with brand guidelines.
Monitor engagement by monitoring comments, routing inbox messages to appropriate points of contact, and handling routine connection requests on behalf of leadership.
Track performance metrics across selected channels to help identify what resonates with our B2B audience.
Assist with obtaining client reviews to strengthen brand presence
Other Marketing Operations
Maintain and organize the marketing leads database, ensuring list health, accurate segmentation, and data cleanliness.
Provide logistical and promotional support for upcoming events, webinars, or campaigns when needed.
Identify routine marketing processes that can be streamlined or automated using modern software tools.
Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in B2B digital marketing and search.
REQUIREMENTS
Based in the Philippines with reliable internet and consistent availability for a long-term role.
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to digest data, extract basic insights, and connect daily tasks to broader business goals.
Highly organized with a knack for managing supporting tasks, tracking deadlines, and maintaining clean documentation.
Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced setting with clear guidance.
An outstanding academic record / General Weighted Average
Excel or Google Sheets proficiency for day-to-day marketing tasks is required
Familiar with leveraging AI to assist with daily tasks; can discern when to use and trust AI outputs
Writing skills (for blog and social media) is a plus
