The opportunity
The focus of the Project Manager is to manage the delivery of projects within a specific market remit. Operating as the main Project Manager for Market coordination, the Project Manager will manage all elements of Market-coordination, across 3 channels – brochure, website and the Configurator as well as having specific responsibility to resolve issues at a regional level.
The Project Manager will be capable and confident resolving issues and able to work autonomously. This role is pivotal to our internal global organization, and the dedicated Markets are the Client-base. This is a truly global position and requires someone who can manage expectations, deliver projects against timelines, and communicate effectively.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Lead their designated market, be the main point of contact for issue resolution, but escalate when required
• Manage your clients to successfully deliver print collateral and launch websites according to agreed timings for their designated market(s)
• Build strong and robust relationships with your Global and local clients
• Understand that the Project Manager role reports to Global and that the delivery of translated Global assets into local market is the role’s core objective, rather than the localisation of Global assets
• Ensure you are communicating effectively any changes, updates, work coming in regularly to your clients
• Become a ‘market specialist’ – understanding each of the markets in depth and taking ownership for identified projects
• Ensure all timings in the critical path are adhered to without fail
• Collaborate with internal teams and the external Agency partners to resolve issues
• Working with Senior Project Manager to establish and manage project plans through to delivery
• Where deadlines cannot be met, then work with the SPM to work up a manageable contingency plan
• Update status reports daily and complete timesheets
• Understand and adhere to the WoWs and processes
• Write clear and concise briefing documents in a timely manner for all stages of the project delivery to enable teams to act quickly on all instructions
• Understand the overall critical path for the market projects and the client agreed SLA’s for delivery
• Take responsibility for all QC and ensuring the correct approval signatures have been given both internally and externally
