DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Manager, Global Process, located in Bogotá, Colombia.
The Manager, Global Process is responsible for leading a global team within Global Services HR (GS HR) that supports the design, governance, execution, and continuous improvement of Compensation and Benefits processes. This role serves as a key partner to HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Global Services, and business stakeholders to ensure the consistent delivery of scalable, compliant, and employee-focused programs and services across regions.
This leader will drive operational excellence through process standardization, data-driven decision making, service delivery performance management, and the successful implementation of global HR initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide compensation processes, lead complex change programs, support business transformation activities, and help shape the future employee experience across DePuy Synthes.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a global team responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of year-round compensation processes, including salary structures, merit planning guidance, annual budget planning support, and governance activities.
• Oversee year-end compensation cycle activities, ensuring high-quality execution, process compliance, data integrity, and a positive stakeholder experience across regions.
• Direct global Compensation and Benefits survey participation, benchmarking activities, and related data collection processes to support informed decision-making and market competitiveness.
• Establish and maintain governance for Compensation and Benefits data management, reporting, analytics, data quality standards, and operational controls.
• Partner closely with Compensation, Benefits, Total Rewards, and other HR Centers of Excellence to implement global policies, programs, and process enhancements.
• Drive performance management of Global Service Delivery metrics, including service levels, operational KPIs, stakeholder satisfaction measures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead change management and program management activities associated with new HR processes, technology implementations, organizational changes, and business transformation initiatives.
• Provide HR process leadership and operational support for acquisitions, divestitures, and integration activities, ensuring successful transition and adoption of compensation-related programs.
• Lead the deployment and sustainment of new global HR policies, programs, governance frameworks, and process standards while ensuring consistency across geographic regions.
• Manage external compensation vendors and strategic partners, including service performance, contract adherence, issue resolution, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
Education:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Organizational Development, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree (MBA, MS, MA) or equivalent advanced degree.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits, Global Services, Shared Services, Process Excellence, or related functions.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading and developing teams in a global or regional environment.
• Experience managing compensation programs, annual compensation planning cycles, salary administration, or total rewards processes.
• Strong program and project management skills with experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience defining, measuring, and improving operational performance through service delivery metrics and process excellence methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across multiple organizational levels.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting global HR service delivery or shared services organizations.
• Experience partnering with HR Centers of Excellence, including Compensation, Benefits, Talent, or HR Operations teams.
• Knowledge of global compensation benchmarking and survey methodologies.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational integrations.
• Familiarity with HR technologies, reporting tools, and data governance practices.
• Experience managing third-party vendors, service providers, or outsourced operations.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Project Management, or Change Management certification experience.
Other:
• Fluent English required; additional language capabilities are a plus.
• Up to 10% international travel may be required.
• PMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or related certifications preferred.
• No driver's license requirement for this role.
