Join our Engagement & Change Advisory team and help clients navigate complex change, stakeholder engagement and transformation challenges across a variety of sectors. This is a 10-month maximum term opportunity offering the chance to work on some of Australia's most significant projects while contributing to meaningful outcomes for communities, organisations and stakeholders.

What you’ll do

You will join us as a Manager in our Engagement & Change Advisory team based in our beautiful North Sydney office.  You will lead the delivery of complex community and stakeholder engagement and / or transformation programs while helping grow Aurecon's advisory capability and client relationships.

You will:

• Lead the strategy, design and delivery of large-scale stakeholder engagement, community engagement and/or organisational change programs across complex client environments.
• Build and manage senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to executives, project directors and key stakeholders.
• Identify, pursue and convert opportunities through business development, proposal leadership, client account management and work winning activities.
• Provide strategic advice on areas such as  stakeholder risk, social impact, change readiness, organisational transformation and communication approaches.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality advisory outcomes across infrastructure, energy, water, transport and built environment projects.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Engagement & Change Advisory practice, contributing to capability development and market positioning.
• Coach, mentor and develop consultants and senior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Partner with leaders across Aurecon's advisory, engineering and design businesses to deliver integrated solutions that create lasting client value.

What you’ll bring

We're seeking an experienced consulting professional with a strong track record of delivering complex advisory outcomes, leading teams and growing client relationships.

You'll bring:

• Significant experience in disciplines including stakeholder engagement, community engagement, communications, social impact, and / or change management, organisational transformation or related advisory disciplines.
• Demonstrated success leading large and complex programs, projects or portfolios across government, infrastructure, utilities or private sector environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience identifying opportunities, developing proposals and contributing to revenue growth and business development.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders, executives and client decision-makers.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including mentoring, coaching and supporting career growth.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and facilitation capabilities, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
• Experience within infrastructure, energy, water, transport or built environment sectors will be highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Change Management, Human Resources, Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Community Development or a related discipline.
