Why is this role important?

As the Manager, eCommerce Communications & Operations, you will help enable proactive, effective communications across our eCommerce business and enterprise partners.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications, you will be the bridge across business units, Programs, Product teams and cross-functional partners through effective communications planning, coordination and execution.

You will help build scalable ways of working that encourage planning, ownership, and enable teams through established frameworks with AI-enabled tools.

What You’ll Do

 

Communications Planning &  Stakeholder Management

• Own the eCommerce communications calendar and intake process, providing visibility into upcoming initiatives, priorities and impacts.
• Serve as a key communications partner with Program, Product and business teams to define communications needs, ownership, timelines and deliverables.
• Develop communications plans that align audiences, channels, timing, dependencies and approvals.
• Proactively identify opportunities to simplify communications and escalate significant risks, conflicts or alignment needs.

AI & Communications Enablement

• Support and continuously improve AI-enabled communications tools, templates, workflows and self-service resources.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize or automate repetitive communications activities and processes.
• Track communications activity, priorities and planned versus unplanned work to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather stakeholder and colleague feedback and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement of the eCommerce communications operating model, increasing proactive planning, efficiency and adoption of self-service tools.

 

Does This Sound Like You?

• 5 + years of experience in communications, change management, operations, project coordination or a related field; retail experience is an asset.

• Ability to support an on-call schedule

• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.

• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong judgment and the ability to translate complex or unclear needs into clear, actionable communications.

• Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and work effectively across teams and levels of an organization.

• Comfortable using AI-enabled tools and technology to improve ways of working; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel
