Position Title: Maintenance Generalist (MG07)
Position Summary
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble equipment.
- Operate and maintain mobile equipment, pneumatic systems, and circuit components.
- Perform welding, oxygen cutting, plasma cutting, torch cutting, and electrical circuit repair.
- Perform wiring tasks involving three-phase power, motor control systems, relays, contactors, and single-to-multiple start-stop systems.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment, motor control centers, switches, and relays.
- Perform physical tasks including climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 pounds multiple times monthly.
- Work in hot and cold environmental conditions.
- Work overtime and weekends as required.
- Follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Work at heights.
External Requirements
Maintenance Experience Requirements by Level
MG01 - MG02 - MG03
- Up to six months of maintenance experience.
- Agriculture Milling Maintenance experience preferred.
MG04 - MG05
- Minimum of six months of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Agriculture Milling Maintenance experience preferred.
MG06 - MG07
- Minimum of six months of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Agriculture Milling Maintenance experience preferred.
- One year of electrical job-related experience must be noted on the application or resume.
MG08
- Minimum of one year of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- One year of electrical experience, including PLC and motor control diagnostics with schematic identification, must be listed on the application or resume.

Rehire Criteria:
· Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
· Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
