Manage the buying process for a defined set of goods and suppliers supporting multiple internal Wind customers as a Lead Buyer for Pensacola site. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Place and follow-up on POs for assigned commodities and suppliers according to global sourcing fulfillment operation strategy.
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP. Build and maintain a common line of balance for the site.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills.
• Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
• Prioritize information for data analysis and use technical experience and analytical thinking to support decision-making.
• Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy, but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment, but may require more senior levels of guidance.

• Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
• May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement.
• Minimum of 5 years of advanced experience in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $82,900.00 and $138,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
