Title:
Lead Planner and SchedulerKey Accountabilities
• Promotes a culture of open safety reporting and continuous improvement.

• Accountable for supplying an accurate Maintenance schedule to allow
effective and efficient asset maintenance, covering multi-discipline
Preventative (PM) & Corrective (CM) maintenance activity.
• Support station MA’s in ensuring no overdue maintenance (SCE and
Anomaly management) to reduce risk to production /personnel / plant and
environment.
• Responsible for supporting Maint team requests for contractor support
(CTR’s) from end to end, ensuring MA’s provide:-
o quality of scope of work
o accurate cost review / challenge against the supplied resources /
equipment utilisation & materials
o accurate durations
• Responsible for the management of processes and standards, and
monitoring the agreed upon KPIs, taking appropriate actions to close the
deviations from Maintenance team objectives.
• Drives compliance with the standardized Work Management process,
particularly in Primavera scheduling application. (p6)
• Maintains the required daily updates / progress in the following
o O&M tracker (daily)
o Maintenance P6 schedule (daily)
o Flowline leak tracking report (daily)
o Safety critical report (daily)
o Fabrication tracker (weekly)
o SC 14 & 90 day report & forecast (weekly)
o Maint overview report. (weekly)
o Contract fund management (weekly)
• Support station planners for weekly backlog management, within their
area of responsibility, to clean up and prioritize work
• Recommends execution optimization and nesting opportunities to the
station Maint advisor & Maintenance Manager.
• Chairs the 6/12wk Maint activity schedule – deputises for Maint manager,
when not available to ensure good compliance with gate criteria and
accuracy of O&M information. Seeks nesting opportunities for all activities
and ensure no activities at risk (red flag) will be carried into the 6wk
schedule window without prior agreement with FMM.
• Champion Continuous improvements (CI) by standardizing best practice
activities across site and maintenance teams,
o optimize Maintenance Strategy.
o improvements to maintenance build.
o optimize Materials Look-up and Staging.
• Coach and mentor the station planner in the role.
Experience, Qualifications & Key Skills
• Above 12 Years experience in O&G industry (Preferable with IOC’s direct or
contract)
• Technical degree or HNC certificate in engineering.
• Experience in previous Maint lead role (MTL / Maint Superintendent
capacity)
• Practical exposure to production facilities
• Proficient in planning tools (Primevara 6)
• Proficient in CMMS tools (CMSS – Maximo /SAP)
• Proficient in Project management tools (MS Project)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to to identify proper priorities of maintenance activities in a high
activity environment.
• Driven to deliver continuous improvement.
• Strong bias for being proactive and getting results
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling
