The Opportunity

Brightflag is the leading AI-powered legal spend management platform, and we're growing fast. As a Lead Implementation Consultant on our Professional Services team, you'll be at the centre of that growth — owning end-to-end implementations for some of the world's largest, most complex legal organisations. This isn't a role where you follow a script. You'll bring real technical depth and sharp project instincts to problems that genuinely matter, configuring the Brightflag platform, driving data migration strategies, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers navigating significant operational change. 

You'll work across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to deliver implementations that go beyond go-live — laying the foundation for long-term customer health and satisfaction. Brightflag's enterprise customer base is expanding rapidly in the US, and you'll be a critical part of the team making that growth sustainable. What You Will Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end implementations for large-scale enterprise customers with complex organizational structures, multi-entity requirements, and high volumes of matters and spend, ensuring they go live on time and in line with expectations.

• Act as the customer's trusted guide throughout implementation, building confidence with legal operations leaders, general counsel, and technical stakeholders at every stage.

• Oversee multiple enterprise implementations simultaneously, managing priorities, risks, and escalations against project timelines and plans.

• Partner closely with customers to understand their business and technical requirements and translate them into a clear, well-sequenced implementation plan.

• Configure the Brightflag platform to meet enterprise scale and complexity, including approval workflows, billing guidelines, reporting structures, and security needs.

• Develop and own the data migration strategy for large, complex datasets, coordinating with internal resources for accurate and timely execution.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on feature requests and integrations across enterprise tech stacks, including matter management, ERP, and SSO systems.

• Work with the assigned Customer Success Manager to define success for each implementation and set the foundation for a strong long-term relationship.

• Ensure enterprise needs are fully met during implementation and positioned for continued growth, adoption, and satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you need:

• 6+ years hands-on experience in a customer-facing implementation role at a B2B SaaS company.

• Ability to solve complex technical and business problems and communicate requirements effectively with both technical teams and non-technical customer stakeholders.

• Understanding of data ETL, migration tasks, and software/web technologies including SQL, RESTful APIs, and OAuth.

• Excellent project management skills, including expertise in planning and risk management across multiple simultaneous projects.

• Familiarity with waterfall and agile (Scrum) methodologies.

• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Jira.

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously without dropping the ball.

• Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to and influencing both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Analytical approach to requirements gathering and ability to stay structured and thorough in understanding customer needs.

• Curiosity and a problem-solving mindset — this is the most important behavioural trait; must actively seek out information and solutions rather than waiting to be directed.

The following are a bonus!

• PMP or CAPM certification

• Domain knowledge or expertise in legal management or legal operations

• Experience in legal or regulatory SaaS

Compensation:

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position.  Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
