We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, growth, and lifecycle management of our High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) portfolio, including LC/Q-TOF systems and related workflow solutions.

In this role, you will define product strategy, identify new market opportunities, guide product development, and lead successful product launches. You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams across R&D, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Product Support to ensure our portfolio remains competitive and delivers customer value.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Leadership

• Define the long-term strategy and roadmap for Agilent's HRMS portfolio.
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
• Make recommendations on product investments, enhancements, and future portfolio direction.
• Support portfolio planning and prioritization decisions.

Business Growth & Market Development

• Drive growth across pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, life sciences, omics, environmental, food, and applied markets.
• Build business cases for new products, technologies, and investments.
• Develop strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Partner with commercial teams to drive customer adoption and business growth.

Product Management

• Manage products throughout their lifecycle, from concept and development through launch, growth, and end-of-life planning.
• Gather customer and market insights to define product requirements.
• Work closely with R&D to ensure products meet customer needs and business goals.
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements.

Product Launch & Commercialization

• Lead global product launches and portfolio updates.
• Develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Applications, and Product Support teams to ensure successful market adoption.
• Drive go-to-market and customer engagement strategies.

Customer & Industry Engagement

• Build relationships with customers, industry experts, and key opinion leaders.
• Gather customer feedback to guide product strategy and future investments.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies.
• Represent Agilent at customer meetings, advisory boards, and industry events.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead global initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Influence decisions and build alignment across technical, commercial, and business functions.
• Present recommendations and business updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in mass spectrometry, product management, product marketing, applications, technical marketing, sales, or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of LC/MS instrumentation and High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry technologies.
• Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, or product requirements.
• Experience leading product launches or market development initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing LC/Q-TOF or broader High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry product portfolios.
• Knowledge of omics, untargeted analysis, biopharmaceutical characterization, or advanced analytical workflows.
• Experience building business cases and supporting investment decisions.
• Track record of launching analytical instrumentation platforms or workflow solutions.
• Experience with portfolio management, forecasting, pricing, and strategic planning.
• Experience presenting to and working with senior leadership.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $163,008.00 - $254,700.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
