OVERVIEW 

The Junior Supply Planner supports pre-season supply planning by maintaining high-quality planning data, improving system readiness, and helping translate finished-goods forecasts into raw-material requirements. This role supports the Supply Planning team’s strategies and initiatives, ensuring key data, tools, and planning processes are accurate, scalable, and ready to support seasonal execution. 

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in supply planning. They will partner closely with Company Planning, Product Development, Merchandising, Buying, Raw Materials, Production, and global vendor partners to develop feasible raw-material supply plans ahead of each season. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Support pre-season supply planning for seasonal collections, replenishment programs, and carryover products. 
• Translate finished-goods forecasts into raw-material requirements, considering bills of materials, production lead times, minimum order quantities, supplier capacity, material availability, and delivery windows. 
• Support the expansion of component-planning processes to include trims and packaging as the business evolves. 
• Maintain and improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of planning data across planning, ERP, PLM, and reporting systems. 
• Perform system clean-up, data validation, and ongoing maintenance to ensure master data, planning assumptions, product attributes, lead times, and supply parameters are reliable. 
• Assist with the creation, testing, implementation, and documentation of supply planning projects, tools, reports, and process improvements. 
• Support the implementation of supply planning strategies, including process changes, inventory initiatives, capacity plans, and planning-system enhancements. 
• Prepare analyses and recurring reports to support supply planning decisions, including raw-material requirements, capacity needs, inventory implications, supply risks, and planning assumptions. 
• Partner with Raw Materials, Product Development, Production, and vendor teams to validate material readiness, sourcing details, production timelines, and supply constraints. 
• Assist with what-if analyses to assess the impact of changes in demand, assortment, sourcing, capacity, MOQ, lead times, or delivery dates. 
• Prepare materials for planning meetings, document key decisions, track action items, and communicate updates to cross-functional partners. 
• Identify opportunities to improve data integrity, reporting visibility, planning accuracy, and process efficiency. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience in supply planning, production planning, inventory planning, operations, or data analysis will also be considered. 
• 0–2 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, inventory planning, merchandising, operations, data analysis, or a related function; apparel, fashion, footwear, or consumer-goods experience is a plus. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. 
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis. 
• Familiarity with ERP, planning, PLM, or reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDA/Blue Yonder, Anaplan, or similar platforms is preferred. 
• Basic understanding of supply chain concepts, including demand forecasting, bills of materials, production lead times, MOQ, capacity, inventory, and seasonal planning. 
• Demonstrated interest in systems, data quality, process improvement, and project implementation. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and global partners. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. 
• Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic retail and apparel business. 

The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees.
