Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Serve as secondary point of contact to the customer
Program Management Support
- Cost Report Development and Analysis
- Contract Management including assisting with setup in financial management software, Mod reviews, Funding Runout tracking, EAC/VAC analysis
- CDRL generation
- Supporting Status and Customer Meetings
- ROM and Proposal Support
- Dependencies and Risk Support
- Monthly Status Reports
- Schedule Development
Program Startup Support
- Support early phases of starting a program to establish appropriate infrastructure for the team and ensure contract compliance
People Leadership
- Serve as people manager to SMX Space & Intelligence Business Unit employees on the programs supported
Required Skills & Experience
- This position requires an active Interim DoD Secret Clearance. Clearance required: Active DoD Secret. Due to the clearance requirement, U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate must also participate in a background screen.
- BS or advanced degree in Business Administration or another relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in project engineering, program management, or finance roles (an advanced degree (eg: Masters, PhD) provides two years of experience)
- Experience managing software development focused programs in the defense and aerospace fields, especially as a subcontractor
- Excellent understanding of the full software development lifecycle on government programs
- Experience with general Program Management tools such as MS Project and MS Office Suite
- Experience with personnel management of 10 or more individuals
- Excellent organization skills with exceptional attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills & Experience
- Domain experience with remote sensor systems or ground architectures, especially experience with OPIR sensor processing
- Experience with CostPoint, FocusPoint, Salesforce, Greenhouse
