Key Responsibilities:

• As a Java Developer you will be responsible for supporting current and developing new software solutions.
• You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable high performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and engage with multiple teams, contribute to key deliveries and provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams,
• Maintain existing Java C applications.
• Take ownership of specific software components and ensure their quality and performance meet project standards.
• Should be able to collaborate with people and can learn and teach others.
• Pass a fairly rigorous client security clearance, no felonies, convictions, good credit standing etc., including fingerprinting and a drug test.

Note: Role requires 100% onsite client work in Houston, TX

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Java Enterprise Backend Development
• Capable of passing public trust clearance
• Must pass a client security clearance including background check, good credit standing, fingerprinting, and drug test
• Must be a Green Card Permanent Resident for past 7 years or US Citizen
• High School Diploma or GED

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Agile Team Practices
• Advanced proficiency in JUnit Testing Framework and Spring Boot along with intermediate proficiency in Apache Kafka and Microservices Architecture

 

 

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
