Job Description & Summary 

The Chief of Staff will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Business Leader, driving execution of key priorities, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and enabling seamless coordination across teams and stakeholders. The role requires strong business acumen, stakeholder management, operational excellence, and the ability to translate strategy into action. 

The incumbent will act as an extension of the Leader, providing strategic, operational, and administrative support to maximize leadership effectiveness and organizational impact. 

 

Responsibilities 

1. Trusted Business Partner 

  • Serve as a liaison between the Leader and internal/external stakeholders. 

  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination across teams. 

  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and functional teams. 

  • Provide operational and administrative support to ensure smooth functioning of the office. 

2. Leadership Enablement & Execution 

  • Identify and proactively address challenges that hinder team effectiveness. 

  • Take ownership of day-to-day operational priorities, enabling the Leader to focus on strategic initiatives. 

  • Prepare leadership briefs, presentations, meeting materials, and executive submissions. 

  • Track key actions, risks, and business issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution. 

  • Drive solution-oriented problem-solving and follow-through. 

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner with multiple business and support functions to drive alignment on key initiatives. 

  • Facilitate collaboration across stakeholders to achieve business objectives. 

  • Influence outcomes through strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement. 

4. Strategic Support to Leadership 

  • Support the Leader in defining, tracking, and reviewing strategic priorities. 

  • Monitor progress against business goals and prepare periodic updates. 

  • Manage leadership calendar priorities, including travel planning and strategic time management. 

  • Review upcoming meetings and ensure appropriate agendas, briefing materials, and follow-up actions are in place. 

  • Support review of internal and external communications, including emails, presentations, speeches, and leadership notes. 

  • Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making. 

5. Operational Excellence 

  • Develop and enhance governance frameworks, tracking mechanisms, and reporting systems. 

  • Drive operational improvements and process optimization initiatives. 

  • Establish and monitor metrics to improve efficiency and execution. 

6. Strategic Planning 

  • Support annual and long-term strategic planning processes. 

  • Coordinate planning discussions, monitor execution, and track key deliverables. 

  • Assist in translating strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Years of Experience Required 

Minimum 6 years
