SUMMARY
The HRIS Administrator is responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing evolution of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment’s HR platforms, including UKG Pro, Lattice, Greenhouse, learning management systems, and connected applications.
This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, security, and effective use of HR data and systems while supporting employee lifecycle record updates, system administration, reporting and analytics, integrations, compliance, and process improvements. The HRIS Administrator partners across the Human Resources team and across the organization--notably with Finance, Technology, and other stakeholders--to manage effective and scalable HR platforms and workflows.
The HRIS Administrator will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources Operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Administrative Responsibilities
- Process, standardize, and maintain all employee lifecycle transactions, records, documentation, and organizational changes in UKG Pro.
- Manage employee and manager self-service functions, organizational charts, and other HRIS administration and controls.
- Prepare and validate HR data for salary surveys, workforce surveys, league reporting, audits, and other internal and external requirements.
- Support platform management for other HR initiatives, including performance management, goal setting, employee surveys, and learning programs.
- Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews, including Workers’ Compensation and 401(k) audits.
- Work closely with Payroll to ensure data, functionality, and processes are up-to-date for smooth payroll processing.
- Serve as an HR Tech Champion and resource for team members and employees, providing user guidance and promoting effective platform adoption.
- Maintain knowledge of HR technology advancement and emerging trends.
Platform Management Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize UKG Pro, Greenhouse, Lattice, learning management systems, and connected HR technology platforms.
- Configure and maintain workflows, business rules, security roles and permissions, Time and Attendance, and other functionality.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Manage HR technology integrations and partner with Technology, Finance, Benefits, vendors, and other stakeholders to maintain accurate data across systems.
- Test, document, and deploy enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and new functionality.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve user experience, and increase the efficiency and scalability of HR technology.
Process, Data & Analytics Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain controls, audits, reconciliations, and validation processes to ensure HR data is accurate, secure, consistent, and auditable.
- Manage HRIS-related ACA reporting and support other compliance and audit requirements in partnership with Benefits and Human Resources.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and recurring reporting related to headcount, turnover, demographics, workforce trends, and other HR metrics.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to Human Resources and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into effective system, reporting, and process solutions.
- Continuously improve and standardize HRIS processes to strengthen efficiency, scalability, automation, and data quality.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology, HR operations, people analytics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience administering an HRIS; UKG Pro experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with HRIS configuration, workflows, security roles, integrations, testing, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards; Cognos Analytics experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR data management, governance, auditing, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of HR processes across payroll, benefits, talent management, learning, and the employee lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data and business needs into practical solutions.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- High degree of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential employee information.

COMPENSATION
$90,000 - $110,000 base salary

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent will work primarily in an office environment located in Industry City.
