The Role
As an HR Generalist at Mindvalley, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our employee experience and supporting our global growth. This is a hands-on, data-driven position where you’ll work across all areas of HR—employee experience, HR business partnering, operations, payroll, and compliance—while driving process optimization and contributing to our culture of innovation.
What You’ll Do
Manage stakeholder relationships with executives to ensure effective business strategy execution
Execute bi-annual performance management cycles
Support and advise managers and employees on all employee lifecycle processes, including HR policies, employee relations.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, including handling restructuring initiatives and complex employee relations cases
Be the local point of contact for legal compliance matters and liaise with our legal team on employment contracts and regulatory matters
Collaborate with the People Operations team to streamline and automate HR processes, leveraging AI and technology
Analyze HR data and metrics to provide workforce reports and statistics, and recommend efficiency improvements.
Contribute to engagement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive workplace
Oversee payroll administration and HR operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Oversee on HR vendor management and contract renewals for HR services

You’ve built strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
Data-driven insights are informing HR and business decisions
HR processes are running smoothly, with measurable improvements in efficiency and employee experience
Compliance risks are proactively managed, and policy audits are up to date
You’ve contributed to at least one culture or engagement initiative with visible impact
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
5+ years’ experience as an HR generalist or in HR operations, ideally in an international environment
Deep knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR compliance
Proven experience managing company-wide transformations, including restructuring initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Data-driven mindset with experience using HRIS and HR analytics tools
Demonstrated ability to optimize and automate HR processes, including leveraging AI tools
Experience with payroll administration and HR operations
High ethical standards and professionalism
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven company
Experience with BambooHR as a HRIS tool
Familiarity with vendor management and HR budgeting
