The role owns the following ongoing accountabilities and is expected to translate strategy into disciplined, measurable execution.

  • Provide objective recommendations while adapting design options based on stakeholder feedback and evidence.

  • Collect and validate organization, role, workload, spans-and-layers, and workforce data.
  • Create current-state and future-state organization charts, role groupings, governance options, and decision-ready presentations.
  • Maintain clear workplans, issue logs, decision records, and deliverable version control throughout the engagement.

  • Partner with HRBPs, Compensation, Talent, Operations, SG&A leaders, and Organizational Effectiveness to test feasibility and dependencies.
  • Prepare leader-ready communications and working-session materials that make complex design choices easy to understand.
  • Support implementation planning, stakeholder alignment, and knowledge transfer to internal owners.

  • Protect sensitive workforce information and follow applicable privacy, access, and document-control expectations.
  • Escalate data gaps, design risks, or unresolved decisions early and propose practical paths forward.

  • Seven or more years of progressive HR, HR business partner, organizational effectiveness, or organization design experience.
  • Direct experience supporting at least three medium- or large-scale organizational redesigns.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives and cross-functional HR stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience producing future-state organization models, org charts, and implementation recommendations.

  • No certification is required.

  • Master’s degree in organizational development, industrial-organizational psychology, human resources, or business.
  • Experience in healthcare, revenue cycle, or a large-scale services organization.
  • Experience with Lucidchart, Microsoft Copilot, Excel, workforce analytics, and AI-enabled work tools.

  • Clear communication and visual storytelling
  • Confidentiality, integrity, and reliable follow-through

  • Completion of agreed discovery, analysis, design, and implementation-planning deliverables within the six-month assignment.
  • Leader alignment on design principles, future-state options, and documented decisions.
