Position Summary
The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders in the Philippines, providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. This role partners closely with managers and employees to implement HR strategies, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure alignment between people practices and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals and translate them into effective people strategies.
- Provide consultation on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.
Talent Management
- Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
- Work with managers to identify high-potential talent and create development pathways that build organizational capability.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on workplace matters, policies, and procedures.
- Handle employee relations issues professionally and confidentially, conducting investigations when necessary and recommending appropriate resolutions in accordance with local labor laws and company policy
Performance Management
- Guide managers through performance management processes including goal setting, feedback conversations, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews.
- Coach leaders on delivering constructive feedback and developing their teams effectively.
Learning and Development
- Identify training needs and collaborate with the learning team to design and deliver development programs.
- Support leadership development initiatives and facilitate workshops on core HR topics.
Change Management
- Support organizational change initiatives by assessing impact on employees, developing communication strategies, and providing guidance to leaders navigating transitions.
- Build change readiness and resilience within teams.
HR Operations and Compliance
- Collaborate with the broader HR team (Centers of Expertise, HR Knowledge Center, HR Operations, JBS) to ensure consistent application and enhancement of HR policies, programs, and systems
- Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and other HR systems. Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Data and Analytics
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, measure effectiveness of HR programs, and provide insights that inform business decisions.
- Prepare regular reports on key people metrics for leadership review.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field required.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or generalist role.
- Experience in the real estate or professional services industry is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor law and employment regulations
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent consultation and coaching skills with demonstrated business acumen
- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Effective communication skills in English and Filipino; ability to facilitate discussions and presentations and influence leaders and decision makers
- Problem-solving mindset with sound judgment in handling sensitive matters
- Project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple priorities

Working Conditions
Standard office environment with occasional travel to other JLL sites within the Philippines as needed. Flexibility required to accommodate business needs and employee matters that may arise outside regular working hours.
