Health and Well-Being Specialist
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and evaluate high-impact occupational health, mental health, and well-being initiatives that promote a healthy and supportive workplace culture.
- Coordinate clinical and preventive health services, including primary nursing care, first aid, vaccination programs, and occupational health surveillance activities.
- Lead wellness, resilience, and healthy lifestyle programs while supporting staff health, safety, and well-being needs.
- Monitor and analyze workforce health data, identify trends and risks, and leverage data insights and AI-enabled tools to inform decision-making and improve services.
- Support policy development, health-related entitlements administration, compliance activities, and the management of confidential health information.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, health providers, and stakeholders to strengthen occupational health services and coordinate care when required.

- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, emergency care, occupational health practices, and protocols.
- Ability to design and implement health promotion, awareness, and preventive health initiatives.
- Capacity to collect, interpret, analyze, and visualize health-related data to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Strong professional oral and written communication skills.
- High level of discretion, tact, and confidentiality when handling sensitive health information.
- Ability to provide first aid and stabilize patients until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrives.
- Knowledge of occupational and travel health challenges affecting personnel during duty travel or deployment.
- Familiarity with digital health technologies and AI-enabled systems that support occupational and preventive health programs.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt, manage priorities, and deliver quality results in a changing environment.
DURATION OF CONTRACT
One year post of limited duration. First year probationary period.
