Fine Chemicals, Head of Sales

Job Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute annual sales plans, key account plans, and monthly sales forecasts in alignment with the overall global strategy.
- Break down sales targets into actionable plans and drive execution to achieve sales revenue and profit targets.

- Market Research:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
- Forecast demand and identify growth opportunities and customer retention strategies.
- Ensure marketing objectives are consistent with the company’s long-term business goals.

- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
- Continuously expand the customer base and open new markets, building on a stable client foundation.

- Channel Management:
- Optimize and manage the distributor channel system.
- Review and negotiate terms with new channel partners.
- Conduct regular visits to distributors, drive agent/distributor channel development, and achieve channel sales targets.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or above in any major; candidates with backgrounds in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in fine chemicals; experience in niche segments such as pharmaceutical intermediates or food additives is preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, sharp market insight, excellent communication and coordination skills, and a strong team player.
- Excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures.
