Your Role: Head of Logistic Operations (m/w/d)

Elanco Animal Health is one of the world's leading animal health companies. We develop and sell innovative products and services to prevent and treat diseases in pets and farm animals. KVP Pharma + Veterinär Produkte GmbH, as part of the Elanco Animal Health company, has been producing around 175 different pharmaceutical products for more than 50 years. We are currently hiring a Head of Logistics Operations (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

This is a two-year fixed-term position.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing the warehouse and shipping departments and ensuring that the flow of goods complies with GMP
• Overseeing operational logistics
• Responsible for SOP compliance, stock controls, inventory counts, and Veeva complaints
• Serving as Head of Manufacturing (Section 12 AMWHV) and the responsible person for wholesale (Section 52a AMG)
• Ensuring occupational safety and HSE compliance, as well as serving as the aviation security officer
• Budget planning, cost control, and coordination of capital projects

What You Need to Succeed

• Min. 5 -7 years of experience in logistics, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
• Min. 5 years of leadership experience
• Very good German and English skills
• In-depth knowledge of GMP as well as the requirements of the AMWHV and AMG
• Strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate others, and a knack for processes
• A degree with a focus on logistics or supply chain management
• An independent, proactive work style and a strong focus on achieving goals
• Willingness to serve as an aviation security officer and representative to the Federal Aviation Authority (LBA)
