The Role
As a Group Product Manager, you will lead strategy and product outcomes across a portfolio of product areas focusing on the resident on and off campus experience. You will connect customer and market opportunities with StarRez’s broader product and business strategy, setting clear priorities and ensuring our product investments deliver meaningful customer and commercial outcomes.
You will also lead and develop a team of Product Managers, giving them the strategic context, coaching, and clarity they need to own their respective product areas. You’ll remain close to customers, market dynamics, and critical product decisions while driving impact through your team and strong partnerships across Engineering, Design, GTM, Analytics, and other functions.
Role Specifics
- Work Location: Denver, Colorado (Hybrid)
- Travel: 5% (The percentage of travel is an estimate and could vary based on business needs.)
- Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Chief Product Officer.

What You Will Own
- Lead product strategy, roadmap direction, and performance across a portfolio of product areas, aligning customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers, creating clear ownership, accountability, and opportunities for growth.
- Set portfolio priorities and make informed investment and resource trade-offs across customer opportunities, commercial objectives, technical needs, and longer-term strategic bets.
- Provide strategic oversight for the on and off campus portfolio, including opportunities across marketplace growth, engagement, monetization, and customer value.
- Establish clear product and commercial success measures and use customer research, analytics, experimentation, and market insights to evaluate performance and guide decisions.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, GTM, Analytics, and other leaders to align priorities and deliver high-quality product and business outcomes.
- Represent portfolio strategy, performance, opportunities, and trade-offs with senior leadership, customers, and other key stakeholders.
- Executive level product strategy, roadmap and launch communication.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of complex SaaS, platform, marketplace, or digital products.
- Direct people-management experience with demonstrated success coaching and developing Product Managers.
- Experience leading strategy and prioritization across multiple product areas, customer journeys, or significant product problem spaces.
- Strong commercial and product judgment, with experience connecting product decisions to measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Experience using customer research, market insights, product analytics, and experimentation to inform product strategy and investment decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around complex priorities and trade-offs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clarity in ambiguous and evolving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with B2B2C, marketplace, SaaS, or other multi-sided product environments.
- Experience with marketplace growth, monetization, pricing, packaging, or product-led growth.
- Experience working in or with higher education institutions and/or accommodation providers.
- Experience leading globally distributed Product and Engineering teams.
- Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to customer or product opportunities.
