In this role, you will be the go-to expert for export controls and trade compliance, partnering with teams across the business to ensure adherence to ITAR, EAR, and other global regulatory requirements while supporting secure and compliant business growth.

Responsabilities:

• Ensure compliance with international export control regulations, including ITAR, EAR, ECCN requirements, and other applicable trade regulations.
• Monitor domestic and international shipments to support compliant movement of goods across global supply chains.
• Review transactions, customers, products, and destinations to identify export control requirements and potential compliance risks.
• Conduct customer, supplier, and business partner screening activities, including Denied Party Screening (DPS) and restricted party reviews.
• Support export licensing activities, including license determinations, exemptions, exceptions, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate export control records, classifications, and compliance documentation in SAP and related systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain and maintain Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) and other regulatory information.
• Support end-use and end-user verification processes and ensure proper record retention.
• Review and assist with the release of blocked orders and shipments while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Monitor regulatory developments, embargoes, sanctions, restricted party lists, and export control updates, communicating relevant changes to the business.
• Prepare compliance reports and analyze trade compliance data to support operational and strategic business decisions.
• Partner with Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure efficient and compliant business processes.
• Deliver guidance and training on export controls, global trade requirements, and compliance best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance trade compliance processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
  

What do we look for:

• Previous experience in anti-money laundering or compliance department
• To be familiar with military export control or logistics and/or export control of electronics
• Previous experience in multinational enviroment
• Fluency in English
• Ability to build relationships among different departments
• Ability to set standards for policies and procedures, for future team members
